Cruz is about 10 years old and is a Border Collie mix. He has a way of looking into the eyes of the people whom he visits in the Lansing area.

How he and Sandy met when he was about one is a most heartwarming story. A friend of Sandy's was driving her convertible on MI Ave in Lansing. While she was stopped, a homeless Cruz jumped into the back seat. He was obviously abused but had the good fortune of linking up with a loving person and he now shares his kindness and love with others.
